David BANNERMAN's Long Predicted Betrayal of UKIP
I predicted this betrayal to Nigel Farage personally BEFORE David Bannerman even joined UKIP.
He had been an unmittigated disaster as a candidate for the Tories over many years - eventually rising to the dizzy heights of councillor!
His parents had said to Roger Knapman that 'he was a worry and they wished he would get a proper job'
It was not until David Bannerman had got his feet under UKIP's table as a stepping stone that it became very clear that he was useless, corrupt and a liar.
Here is David Bannerman's betrayal statement:

Personally I believe that UKIP is well shot of him and have openly stated he was a duplicitous and untrustworthy worm since he joined - this resignation was announced on my blog as a certainty some weeks ago and a probability before he joined UKIP."I have been increasingly impressed by the leadership shown by David Cameron in dealing with this country's problems. In particular, the Government's determination to clean up the economic mess left by Labour.
"Similarly in Europe, I have been pleased with the robust stance taken by David Cameron and Conservative MEPs over the EU budget negotiations and I believe that it is Conservative MEPs who are working hard to defend Britain's interests. In contrast, as a member of UKIP I witnessed too many colleagues obsess with single issue politics, internal fighting, and shouting from the sidelines. This behaviour does nothing to serve the best interests of the British people.
"With the recent failings in domestic elections, the ditching of policies and the lack of any credible plan, UKIP has confirmed it is not a serious, credible, fully fledged political party but merely a pressure group. I have been a proud member of the Conservative Party in the past and I am proud to come home to the Conservatives today. Once again, the Conservative Party is proving, as it has so many times before, that it is the only party that can be trusted to sort out Britain's economy and stand up for Britain in Europe.
"I stood for the European Parliament because I wanted to work for the best interests of the United Kingdom and my constituents in the Eastern region. I now feel that I can best serve them and their interests as a Conservative member of the European Parliament. Of course, I have not always seen eye to eye with the Conservative Party on every issue.
I continue to believe personally that Britain should leave the EU but I also believe that while we are members we should fight our corner to secure the best deal possible."
Nigel Farage's lack of leadership skills sadly yet again displays his incompetence as a judge of people.
I wonder if OLAF inquiry over his fraudulent use of public money to fund Peter Reeve as a Regional Organiser will continue!
This could be just the catalyst for UKIP to start to clean-up its in house Augian Stable removing the parasites and funded praise singers who act as sychophants surrounding the leadership in return for money and aggrandisement.
Unless the scum that has floated to the top is removed UKIP will remain unfit for purpose.
Let us hope Nigel Farage has the maturity to acquit his duty and remain with the party as a performer and stop dabbling in leadership which he has proved beyond doubt he has absolutely no skill at.
UKIP web site as ever has absolutely no news of this and is still carrying stale news of another Farage protege Paul Oakley from Nigel's home drinking territory! News that is 10 days out of date!!

EAST of England UKIP MEP David Campbell Bannerman has left the party and joined the Conservatives.
Mr Campbell Bannerman, who has been an MEP for two years, unsuccessfully bid for the UKIP party leadership last year.
He is now returning to the party he left in 2004, and said he was impressed by Prime Minister David Cameron’s stance on dealing with Europe.
Geoffrey Van Orden, the lead MEP for the region commented: “I know that David will make an excellent addition to the Conservative team, having seen his work as a constituency colleague over the past two years.
“He shares our view that the EU is overblown and heading in the wrong direction. We must do all that we can to trim its sails and steer it on a different course.
“We very much look forward to working with him as we continue to champion the East of England’s interests and the British national interest in Europe.
“We are also particularly pleased that the European Conservatives & Reformists Group, which I am proud to have played a key role in forming, will now become the fourth largest political group in the parliament.”
Labour MEP Richard Howitt said: “UKIP is in disarray, so it’s no surprise that some of its members want out.
“The twice failed UKIP leadership pretender has fallen out with his colleagues and is scuttling back to the Conservatives.”
A spokesman for UKIP said: “David has expressed his admiration for David Cameron, who has announced that he will not give the people of this country a referendum on Europe, because he believes we should stay in. He has some nerve criticising UKIP’s credibility.
“When he was chosen as a candidate for UKIP in 2008, David signed a statement that said that he would “remain as a member of UKIP for the full 5-year term or otherwise retire from the Parliament.
