Preesall Town Council has rather a track record of losing its Councillors when you realise that there are after all only 6 councillors on the the council of this little town on the north east banks of The River Wyre in Lancashire best known for its floods.

Councillor Chris Lamb was elected as a Conservative councillor but has reneged on his tiny electorate and has joined UKIP Independence Party.
Preesall Councillor Chris Lamb said: “I am fed up with being ruled by other national governments whom I know nothing about or voted for.”
One is forced to wonder what he knows about UKIP if he knows so little about how these United Kingdoms are governed.
Perhaps he has found the transition to UKIP easier than it might have been as I note there is a Derek Nuttall who is one of the 5 remaining Councillors - could this be a relation of Paul Nuttall's?
I personally do not believe that UKIP serves itself well by seemingly making much of other party's rejects!
It is sad to note that after 17 years that UKIP has less than 30 elected public officers - in fact it could be less than 20 - one has to wonder just what UKIP is there for when one realises how few seats UKIP has EVER held out of the some 19,000+ seats available!

Although Chris Lamb has made it cleart he knows little about The EU I am sure that in the fullness of time we will be informed of the skills and expertise he brings to UKIP.
Let us hope his seat is not up for election this coming year as he is likely to be short lived as the seat will most likely remain with The Tories in a fair election.
CORRECTION:
I am advised by a phone call that a regular reader of this blog too ashamed to put his name to his criticism has pointed out that I have made a mistake - I attributed Town status to what is little more than a village with 5,314 population at the last census.
I note the village is split into 2 sections EACH with 6 councillors so Mr. Lamb clearly has even less relevance than I first thought.
MEA CULPA & my thanks for giving me further information than I had originally posted - strangely UKIP seemingly give no information of this chap whatsoever - other than his self depricating confession.
If anyone has further information on this blog either by way of correction of any mistake I have made or in reasonable expansion of the postings PLEASE do not hesitate to bring it to my attention - you will of course enjoy more respect than the scum and cowards who liberally berate individuals yet lack the integrity to put their identity to their 'STORIES' be they true or just lies like Independent UKIP's frequent cowardly comments or the filth of Skeptyk and their ilk.

What a pompous ASS the so called Independent UKIP is - as is so often the case he is completely wrong in his assumption and whatever makes him think an apology from a liar too ashamed to put his name to his foolish self important prattling would be of any value but to another TROLL like him!!!
May I suggest that anyone seeking the truth about this idiots claims looks up the town of Preesall for some reason its entry as a Council is in two parts for such a small town with a population smaller than many villages this is unusual.
For the record I am frequently phoned with items of interest and many UKIP followers watch the posturing on Butcher's Forum and phone me if something of any note floats to the top in that septic tank.
In visiting the site whilst awaiting a call I have also read Basildon Boy's comments on the subject. It is interesting that he makes valid contributions whilst the insecure little Independent UKIP merely tries to point score making a fool of himself in the process.
It seems rare that this particular TROLL makes any comment beyond cowardly jibes at those he is too stupid to keep pace with.
Anyone with valid info do by all means give me a phone call - the best times are evening through to about 3am. Health wise I am a very poor sleeper never managing much more than 3 hours at a stretch!
