This blog is now an archive, WHICH WILL REMAIN ON BLOGGER FOR THE FORESEABLE FUTURE.

Due to the arbitrary switch of Google's Blogger from .com to .co.UK bringing the blogs more directly under the malign influence of EU Snooping & PC Rules!

As EVERY fact on this blog has been checked and found to be accurate and NO ONE has contacted me to make corrections the decision to move is NOT to shelter from the law in any way as this blog has never broken any laws or even EU diktat as it currently stands.

As with MANY of the more responsible bloggers we have moved to our own web site for hosting of our blog.

I hope you are managing to keep up to date with my blogs.

This blog will now be largely an archive of factual information regarding UKIP and a primary source for links just as was Catterpillars And Butterflies before it and my document archive at CLICK HERE

You will find the links and Right Sidebar or great help if you are a serious supporter of UKIP rather than just one of Farage's sad parasites!

For further updates you will find this blog mirrored and brought up to date on a regular basis at http://UKIP-vs-EUkip.com

It will take some time for me to learn and come to terms with the software on my new web site but please bear with me and note the use of Twitter, as featured in the right sidebar for NIBs (News In Briefs).

My many blogs, which I have had on Blogger for a number of years as .blogspot.com will remain and several will continue as normal regardless of the arbitrary change to .blogspot.co.UK, others will be backed up or continued on either .wordpress.com (for which there is no charge) or on my own web sites using wordpress software (a more costly option but with greater control).

I have made this move as being opposed to control by the malign EU in any way and opposed to the snooping structure The EU and thus UK are introducing on the internet it is not only a way to protect the facts and archive on my blogs but also to show my opposition to the concept of arbitrary control by the clearly self serving and undemocratic EU structure!

The full archive from this blog is held with NEW Facts on the new web site, though some of the links MAY NOT work (sorry - I'm trying to find a solution!) so I hope to continue providing the facts about UKIP & its corrupt and clearly incompetent leadership who have so betrayed these United Kingdoms in pursuit of their own enrichment, goals and ambitions.

Unfortunately until I master the software my new blogs may not be as visually easy to follow and the layout will be rather dull - also I have yet to master many of the 'whistles and bells' but that is all part of the challenge of providing accurate facts for readers and the media!!

Please be assured that the terms of 'Right of Reply', correction of the slightest error of material fact and comment will continue as with this blog to ensure absolute accuracy on the new blog too - See: CLICK HERE

THANK YOU to the many genuine UKIP supporters, for the continued support and constant supply of Facts, from those who are still trying to clean-up UKIP to make it fit for purpose, sadly I fear based upon the catastrophic UK elections to Westminster in 2011 & again to local government in 2012 when out of 4,987 seats up for election UKIP was only elected in 9 and despite improvements in percentage vote were on around 5% which leaves them far short (many years) of any meaningfull breakthrough, I fear UKIP may be a lost cause for Britain though it will propably continue to enrich Nigel Farage & a few of his personally selected chums!

Graham BOOTH MEP rtd. Died 14-Dec-2011

Booth was born 29-Mar-1940 and will I presume be sadly missed by some members of his family.

Booth became an MEP as a result of the ill health of UKIP's interim leader Michael Holmes, who was forced to stand down - a seat which Booth was rapidly placed in being of independent means; having had the good fortune to make considerable money out of his family land assets, which included an old style resort motel, and also through his building exploits.

Booth was one of the early generous donors who helped fund the early days of UKIP, which proved a sound investment when he inherited his position as an MEP in 2002 and he had the good fortune to gain the seat as the incumbent in the election of 2004.

Booth sought to leave no one in doubt just how very important he thought MEPs were, and notably on one occasion defended even the odious little Scot Graham Watson's betrayal of his West Country Constituents on the grounds that Watson was very important because he was an MEP!!

A troubled individual who seemed to derive a perverse pleasure from leaving unfunny offensive obscene jokes on my answerphone at times when he knew I would be out - possibly to shock my wife but I guess no one will now ever know!

Whilst under investigation by OLAF for fraud Booth stood down and was succeeded by Trevor Colman - ostensibly Booth stood down due to the ill health of his wife and would have been unfased when he was found guilty of fraud and ordered to repay a substantial amount of money, as he had his overly generous EU pension and he sold his business shortly after for around £5M.

Having retired in 2008 he and Pam spent much of their time in The Med where I understand they had a villa and where he was able to enjoy the generous pension he had obtained through UKIP.

The Funeral was held in his home town where he had spent most of his life on Thursday 22-Dec-2011 with a large turnout to be seen.
