Perhaps Hesketh should stick to building motorcycles!
Life is rarely as simple as it seems when politically spun!
I was surprised how short a time Hesketh enterprised in their various forms lasted sadly including Hesketh Racing!
Was it his title that earned him his 15 years as a name on the board of Babcock Int.?
Was it that a fool and his money are easily parted that earned him titular treasurer of The Tories?
As so often with EUkip there are frequently more questions than answers!

sadly the V1000 was something of a disaster and after producing a few (around 150 as I recall) he had to call it a day as they were 'not very good' too high center of gravity, a bit of a tractor and with various engineering faults he could not overcome - Even Triumph could not make a go of the deaign.

I believe the firm went bust and it was about that time he was forced to sell off his family seat and all his assetts.

He had another go at making bikes but that failed too with less than 50 made.

Whether ANY sold as retail I'm uncertain but that business was folded also.

Little wonder that at 61 he looks very considerably older or is his health giving out?

I see he is starting a 'fund raising club' for UKIP - he would be ill advised to let UKIP have a penny piece, until they have put in place clear and transparent accounting as a huge amount of money has just vanished in UKIP who seem to use the methods of obfuscation that are common practice in The EU!

Consider UKIP's attempt at a petition which had all the hallmarks of success of the Hesketh V1000 with over £1/4Million of tax payers and other peoples' money being used and no sign of a petition ever being presented to anyone.

Consider also UKIP's Ashford Call Center - described by Farage as the most successfull thing UKIP had ever done yet UKIP Chairman confirmed that less than 15% of the money raised ever reached the party funds whilst the rest seemingly vanished unaccounted into private pockets.

UKIP has no stately home nor heirloom works of art to auction to fund its incompetence - but now it has Alexander Hesketh to show them how it is done!!
